Why didn't the government do more to regulate the safety in the mines and hold the mining company accountable for their safety violations!

I don't get your point. The Tea Party wants smaller government and less governmental control. Sounds good.
Then they ask why the government failed to do its job of regulating mines. Something that's already on the books and has been for years. Seems like they are just proving their point. The government is an incompetent and wasteful behemoth. Now with the "great leader" in charge we should be handing even more power to these idiots? Great idea!
