With all the talk sweeping the country on "Intelligent Design", I thought its time to introduce my theory, "Sloppy Design". On one side of the fence, you have the theory of Evolution, which has been under the gun for well over 100 years. I mean come on, how long does it take to prove a theory anyways. Then there's Intelligent Design, which requires a leap of faith. Why prove a theory, when you can bypass it. And its really nothing more then what we had prior to Darwin's theory. So that's it, all this time, and we only have 2 thoughts on "Life, the Universe, and Everything".
So, I introduce: "Sloppy Design". I mean look at us. Do you really think God ... oops, I mean something intelligent would have made us they way we are. We're more like a rough draft. Easily manipulated, war hungry, and die easily. But that's all a bit general. This will probably be a new series, where I'll add to "Sloppy Design". Expect this to be my Rough Draft, soon to be publish in high school Biology classes everywhere.

Sloppy Design? Sounds interesting!! Pretty funny, too. I can’t wait to read more about your…THEORY! You might ask any PhD student near you (or library or dictionary or computer) to learn the definition of the word, “theory”. That way you wont fall into the same ridiculously false “ditch” as the self-righteous religious hypocrites who are trying to misrepresent creationism as intelligent design. FYI, there is no time-limit to prove or disprove a theory. Nevertheless, a theory CAN and is SUPPOSED to be proved or disproved, unlike intelligent design. Intelligent design, as you correctly said IS… IS a “leap of F A I T H ! ! ! ! Hence, it is not science. It is religion. Unlike that mockery called ‘intelligent design’, I’m sure your theory of Sloppy Design will be far more worthy of being included in our high school’s list of text books. ~ CT/NY

In his novel from the eighties entitled"Mindkiller" Spider Robinson raised the notion that "God is an iron", ie:a felon commits a felony, a glutton commits gluttony... an iron commits...irony.
As a concept it encompasses your sloppy design and intelligent design and evolution.
