So let me get this right...because I still try find some kind of logic to the Republican party.
John McCain has just tapped Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his Vice President. Soooo. Huh?
I thought this election was all about Obama's inexperience? Yet the oldest nominated candidate picks someone that has a year and a half of experience as a Governor for a state that has a population that's less then Detroit! And she served as governor one month longer than Obama's been running for president. Before that, she was a mayor of a town that has a population of 5,500. That's about 1/8 the population of East Lansing when the students are gone or one-thirtieth of the citizens that Barack Obama represented when he was a state senator in Illinois.
Second, I thought we were supposed to be less like Bush...which means less big oil contacts. Yet, Palin chairs the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, and her husband works for BP (when he's not fishing). Damn.

Dear Jeff at MSU –
You aught to be ashamed of yourself...calling yourself a Republican, that is. How dare you find any kind of fault with someone in the Republican party. Have you forgotten that loyal Republicans must fall in line with what the party says plus (and this is crucial) project themselves as being dismissively condescending and superior to Democrats even when Republicans are obviously wrong, stupid or just plain malicious? Stay the course! George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are the best president and vice president this country has ever had. Let’s make McCain and Palin another great pair to lead the most powerful nation among all of the nations on this planet. -CT/NY
