How to Fix the Republican Party

After watching McCain's exit speech at some private resort in Arizona Tuesday, I couldn't help but to feel a bit sorry for my old party. Just the fact is was at some elitist private resort by invitation only is bad, but that scattered crowd of brigands and bravos was ever worse. So here are some changes that would bring me back.

• Fiscal conservative = Fiscal responsibility; yet Reagan, Bush Sr, & Bush Jr all left higher debts then when they started.
• Quit mixing religion with politics. Remember that whole separation of church and state?
• You have your far right base already, look to the center
• Admit Bush's failure, then move on
• Lie to the enemy, not to your people
  
• Stop the elitist bullshit
• Quit treating minorities as token groups, choose the right person for the job
• Pick a group of candidates that know a Blackberry is more then a fruit, and an iphone has nothing to do with them
• Do you have kids? Then love the environment, for their sake.
