Traffic Jam in Space

Interesting observation I noted today, that I haven't read from my usual sources yet. Today marks an interesting moment where space travel is extremely busy. 6 astronauts have left the International Space Station (IIS) via the Space Shuttle Atlantis yesterday, they are currently setting an orbit to head back to Earth. At the same time, there are 3 astronauts/cosmonauts living in the IIS. Finally, 3 more people have launched into Space today from Russia via a Soyuz on route to the IIS. Total, 12 folks are floating around up there right now. Its no new record, 13 being the highest, back in 1997, when astronauts were on Mir, Soyuz, and the Space Shuttle. But rather its a good sign that progress is once again moving forward in Space travel since the most recent Shuttle disaster.

This is probably because of them wacky, left-wing liberal Democrats. Luckily, our great, god-fearing commander'n chief realized that it’s more important to spend our money on the war in Iraq instead of going to Mars like he said we would (January, 2004 speech). If Democrats like John F. Kennedy (who said we should go to the Moon) were in the White House we’d be on our way to Pluto right now. Which, as we now know isn’t even a planet. Damn them evolutionist/non-creationist Democrats and their wacky ideas/goals. Stay the Course!!! ~CT/NY
