Here are this years pumpkins. In honor of our bee's living in the house, I went with the bee carving. Since this years crop was in poor shape due to the warm weather, I went with something a bit more simplistic. The rotting smell I could have gone without. The wife went with her usual theme of creep.


I decided to try a suggestion online that recommended using Vaseline along the cuts to keep in the moisture and prevent early rotting.

Pumpkin Season

Ah Halloween. Trick or treater's, clogged gutters, and cutting pumpkins. Our theme is house. Amanda went with the hunted house, while I went along the lines of electrocution from those home improvements.

We have a tradition that we started when we first met, and it continues still. Pumpkin carving. Amanda went with her usual Halloween theme, the black widow. I, in celebration of rescuing my star wars "action figures" from my moms house, have done TK-527.
